The Bank at Heart’s Corner Farm

Beginning spring 2023, Heart’s Corner Farm is super excited to offer a new way for all comers to enjoy this very special space! Guests can book a short term stay in a hundred year old piece of the previously bustling town of Wake, Va! Packers State Bank was established in 1920 to handle the steamship trade from Baltimore. It stayed open through the Great Depression and then was sold to a private owner. It fell on hard times but is slowly being restored and will be available for booking soon through Airbnb. With a full kitchen and room for up to four it’s a perfect base to explore this beautiful area. As we also have a few paddocks for visiting horses, it offers our horsie clients a perfect weekend training retreat. Being down the road from both a public beach and boat landing, it offers our non horsie friends (or non horsie family members) a gateway to all of the fun that being at the mouth of the Rappahannock River has to offer!
